David Marsh, CBEDavid Marsh, CBE

is chairman of SCCO International. In his strategic advisory work he draws on experience in a wide range of industries – including transport, technology and real estate as well as media and financial services - helping clients to create longer-term value.

Prior to SCCO International he held leadership positions at investment bank Robert Fleming, corporate finance boutique Hawkpoint and management consultancy Droege, where he built the UK subsidiary. He started with a journalistic career at Reuters and the Financial Times, becoming European editor.

David Marsh is co-chairman of Official Monetary and Financial Institutions Forum, senior adviser to asset manager Soditic CBIP LLP, deputy chairman of German-British Forum, advisory board member of Centre for European Reform, and board member of British Chamber of Commerce in Germany. He is chairman of the advisory board of the London & Oxford Group, also was made Commander of the British Empire in 2000 and was awarded the German Order of Merit (Bundesverdienstkreuz) in 2003.

David Marsh has a B.A. in Chemistry from The Queen's College Oxford and is an honorary professor at the University of Birmingham. He is a prolific commentator on economic and business issues and author of several books.
